83-Year-Old Man injured in Home Invasion in Upper Merion

According to 6ABC Action News, Upper Merion Police are searching for suspects in a home invasion robbery on the 400 block of Upper Gulph Road in Upper Merion on Monday, Nov. 12, that left an 83-year-old man injured.

"It's a secluded neighborhood," neighbor Glenn Marinaccio told Action News. "There's not a lot of traffic going by. It's really unnerving."

The suspects reportedly knocked on the door of the victim's home sometime around 3 p.m. on Monday afternoon and hit him in the head and face with a gun when he answered. The victim was reportedly taken to Paoli Hospital for treatment of his injuries. The suspects reportedly made off with undisclosed valuables in a black sedan with chrome wheels and no license plate.

According to Main Line Media News, the suspects are described as two white males – one heavyset and wearing a grey, hooded sweatshirt – in a four door black sedan with tinted windows.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to contact the Upper Merion Police Department at 610-265-3232.
