Parked Vehicle Catches Fire In Norristown
A parked car burst into flames in Norristown on Tuesday morning.

A vehicle caught on fire on George Street in Norristown Tuesday morning, according to Norristown Fire Chief Tom O’Donnell.
The blaze started in the engine and was quickly extinguished, O’Donnell said.
There were no injuries reported, and no property damage other than damage to the vehicle.

Huge clouds of smoke billowed out from the car, and the flames engulfed the hood and the driver’s side tire.
Fire teams responded to the call at 8:29 a.m.
