This year, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is held on Monday, Jan. 20.


The Greater Norristown Police Athletic League (GNPAL) is hosting a multi-site annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Day of Service on Jan. 20. (click)


The Norristown Recreation Committee’s annual Martin Luther King, Jr. “Living the Dream” Awards Ceremony will be held on Jan. 20 in Municipal Hall at 6 p.m. (click)


Elmwood Park Zoo in Norristown is offering guests free admission and special happenings at their zoo on Jan. 20. They are open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (click)


The Norristown Project is hosting three local clean-ups at three Norristown sites on Jan. 18. (click)  


Do you feel like visiting a park? Simmons park, in the heart of Norristown, has a Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. memorial. The park is located at 328 East Oak Street. (click)
