Where Is Lindsey Piccone? One Week Later And Nobody Knows
The 21-year-old's abandoned car at Tyler Park remains the one big clue. Little else has surfaced to lead investigators to her whereabouts.
It's been more than a week since officials shut the gates to the 1,711-acre Tyler State Park to search in earnest for 21-year-old Lindsey Piccone. The Bensalem woman went missing on Sept. 6, and her family was desperate to find her.
Her sedan was located at a Tyler parking lot. That prompted officials to conduct a sweeping search of the Bucks County state park.
But since the closure last week, the abandoned car remains the one, big clue. Little else has surfaced to direct search professionals to the whereabouts of the young woman, who is believed to have been wearing gray sweatpants and a black tank top at the time of her disappearance.

The park, closed Wednesday and Thursday of last week, reopened Friday.
As of this week, searches within the park continue, but "very little new information has come to light," said Terry Brady, press secretary at the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources.

Over the weekend, DCNR personnel conducted searches with the family. That effort resulted in no new leads, Brady said in an email.
An "increased ranger presence" is planned at the park in the coming days, Brady said. Utilizing staff from other parks, the DCNR will conduct smaller searches, "but we will not be using other outside resources unless new information is brought to light," Brady said.
The young woman was reported missing by her parents, Jeannette and Paul Piccone, also of Bensalem. Details surrounding the circumstances of her disappearance were not disclosed.
Eric Ihlein, a DCNR ranger who has served as a spokesperson during the search, has previously said officials believe there is no public threat at the park.
According to Ihlein, Piccone came to Tyler Park frequently with her dogs. But her dogs and her cell phone were not with her when she went missing, Ihlein said. A search throughout Bucks County and other areas she has been known to visit frequently was also conducted.
Piccone is described as being 5 feet, 3 inches tall, 120 pounds and was last seen wearing a black tank top.
If anyone has information about her whereabouts, call Bucks County Emergency Services at 610-982-5411.
