At last week's Collegeville Borough Council Meeting, Collegeville Economic Development Corporation's Manager Rachael Morrison reported a number of business updates:

    • The Perkiomen Bridge Hotel owner Tom Crawford is working closely with CEDC to get started on the restoration/historical landmark project for the property.  According to the Conservancy of Montgomery County, Crawford is looking for tenants, including a restaurant.

    • Mint Hair Salon, located next to the American Barber Company at 323 E. Main Street, is now open. A ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled for Nov. 3.

    • Collegeville Yoga Bar is opening on Main Street at the end of October.

    • As previously reported on Patch, Lou's Too from Trappe to the former Lunch Box on Main building.

    • The empty ACME on 29 is preparing to give up the lease, and are currently in negotiations with ShopRite.  This process will take some time.

    •    An unnamed restaurant is going into the Old Saladworks location in the Collegeville Shopping Center.

    • While Morrison didn't directly confirm, a Borough Council members said that Pep Boys would be moving into the old Annie Sez location in the Collegeville Shopping Center.
