2-Alarm Fire Breaks Out At Old City Parking Garage
Fire crews handled a two-alarm fire at a parking garage at 2nd and Market streets Wednesday morning.
PHILADELPHIA — An Old City parking garage caught fire Wednesday and escalated to a two-alarm fire before crews handled the blaze.
According to the Philadelphia Fire Department, the fire broke out at about 10:46 a.m. at a garage at 2nd and Market streets in Old City.
Action News reports the fire stemmed from a car fire in the lower level of the garage.

The fire was raised to a two-alarm fire at just before 11 a.m.
Firefighters had the blaze under control by about 11:10 a.m., the fire department said.
