PAHS, Renaissance Ranked Among PA's Best by US News

U.S. News and World Report has once again ranked Phoenixville Area High School among the state's best.

The school is ranked 25th best in Pennsylvania and 1,094th in the nation in the new poll, posted here on the US News Website.

The rankings are determined by a number of factors including: teacher to student ratio (15:1), college readiness, math and reading proficiency of students (based on standardized test results).

The top 26 ranked high schools in the nation had a 100 percent college readiness ranking. Phoenixville's ranking is 29.8 percent.

Also in Phoenixville, Renaissance Academy Charter School garnered a number 53 ranking in the state and was put at 1,932 nationally by the magazine.
