Pennsylvania Philharmonic Coming To Phoenixville
Violin performances from some of history's greatest classical artists are coming to the borough.
World class music is coming to communities in southeastern Pennsylvania, including Phoenixville.
The Pennsylvania Philharmonic opens its fall 2015 season on October 28th, featuring internationally-acclaimed violinist Philippe Quint in four regional performances of The Firebird & The Violinist: Masterworks of Stravinsky and Tchaikovsky.
Music Director Michael Butterman is quite in-demand this opening season guest conducting for both the Kennedy Center and the Philadelphia Orchestra, and in addition will lead the Pennsylvania Philharmonic in presenting world-class concerts with internationally acclaimed performers such as David Kim, concertmaster of the Philadelphia Orchestra, Cirque de la Symphonie and more throughout the 2015-2016 season.

Michael Butterman is nationally recognized as one of the most influential conductors in music programing, education, and performance.
What differentiates this orchestra from others is Butterman’s innovative vision of collaborating with multiple communities throughout Pennsylvania by bringing a full 60+ piece orchestra and education program into local school districts, and connecting directly with music educators and students, in addition to performing their public concert series.
