Phoenixville Nonprofit Grants More Than $1 Million To Local Organizations

That's a hefty sum.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA -- The Phoenixville Community Health Foundation has awarded more than a million dollars in grant money to a select group of nonprofit organizations around the area.

PCHF's $1,059,500 in donations is just a small part of the total of $31,600,000 they've granted since they launched in 1998.

According to a press release, the awards are broken into three categories: the level one group provides direct access to health care; the level two group addresses the health, human service and quality of life issues for the fragile, disabled and those at risk of falling further behind socially and economically; and the level three group focuses on civic, recreation, community and economic development, and non-profit capacity building.
