The Church Street health center kicked off a decade of service with an October 18 gala.

The Clinic in Phoenixville, a nonprofit organization providing medical services to the uninsured, held its 10th Anniversary Celebration Dinner on October 18, 2012 at Robert Ryan Catering at Columbia Station in Phoenixville. Over 200 people attended this gala affair. 

Featured speakers at the event included Barbara Tachovsky, President of Paoli Hospital and Steve Tullman, CEO of Phoenixville Hospital. Kate Bilo, meteorologist at CBS 3/CW Philly 57 and Phoenixville native, served as emcee for the evening. 

Chester County Commissioners Ryan Costello and Kathi Cozzone were on hand to present a County Citation to The Clinic, which was accepted by The Clinic founders, Dr. Lorna Stuart and the Reverend Marie Z. Swayze. 

Thomas Burd, Executive Director of The Clinic welcomed guests by saying, “For the last decade, we have been privileged to provide health services to our community.  Today, we celebrate that commitment and mission. We are confident that our first ten years will provide us a solid foundation for the future.”
