2 Found Dead In Pittsburgh-Area Swimming Pool

PINE TOWNSHIP, PA — Allegheny County police are investigating the deaths of two men found dead in a swimming pool on Thursday.

Shortly before 6:30 p.m. Northern Regional police were dispatched to the 200 block of Whetherburn Drive for a welfare check. First responders found two men dead in the pool.

There were no signs of foul play, police said.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office has identified one of the men as Christopher Gebhardt, 63, of Pine. The other man's identity had not been released as of Friday morning.

The medical examiner's office will issue a cause and manner of death determination for the two men.
