Woman, Child Found Dead In Pittsburgh-Area Park
Police are probing the deaths of two people discovered dead in a vehicle in a Pittsburgh-area park Friday.
SOUTH PARK, PA — Police are investigating the deaths of a woman and child who were found dead Friday evening in a vehicle in South Park.
Allegheny County police were dispatched to Diana Grove in the park at 7:18 p.m. and discovered the bodies of the woman and girl inside the woman's vehicle. The county medical examiner's office identified the pair as Serena Guan, 43, and Abigail Neal, 10.
The medical examiner has yet to release information on the causes or manners of death. Police said there were no obvious signs of trauma.

According to county police, the bodies were located five hours after a man contacted Mt. Lebanon police requesting a welfare check on Guan and Neal. Police did not immediately indicate why the pair were believed to be at risk, nor detail the relationship between them.
At this time, detectives believe there is no threat to the public.
