Try one of these three trips you can enjoy on just one tank of gas: the Saturday Concert Series in Berwyn, the Museum of Indian Culture in Allentown and the Philadelphia Rock Gym in Oaks.

Berwyn's Music Workshop Performance Annex Saturday Concert Series

Summary: The Music Workshop is a music school with professional teachers located in Berwyn, PA. The school opened its Performance Annex on January 21 and features weekly concerts on Saturday nights for just $5. Check the Performance Workshop's website to see who is performing on the weekend you'd like to attend. The concert offerings cover a wide range of musical styles by ensembles and solo acts.  Owner Erick Sayles launched the concert series to offer Upper Main Line music fans a place to see great artists without paying high prices. The concert venue is a beautifully restored space that at one time served as Berwyn's Town Hall.  It is literally steps away from several restaurant and across the street from the Berwyn Train Station which is served by SEPTA's Paoli-Thorndale Regional Rail line. Please note that the concert annex is on the second floor of the building and is accessible only by climbing stairs.


Museum of Indian Culture

Summary: The Museum of Indian Culture in Lehigh County is a non-profit organization and educational center. Founded in 1980, it is dedicated to presenting, preserving and perpetuating the history of the Lenape and other Northeastern Woodland Indian cultures. The museum features dozens of arrowheads, tools, jewelry, animal pelts and other artifacts found in the Lehigh Valley and in an archaelogical site in Broomall, Pa. Displays depict Native Americans as they would have looked both prehistorically and after Europeans began to settle the area. A gift shop offers candles, jewelry, note cards, books and other items. The museum includes a research library

Summary: Founded in 1994, the first Philadelphia Rock Gym was built by two college friends who had a vision -- to bring their passion and enthusiasm for climbing back to their hometown. By taking the novel step of bringing climbing inside, they became one of the first indoor climbing centers in the country. Whether you are a first-timer or take the sport very serious, Philadelphia Rock Gym is a great way to spend the day. They also offer many specials, including parties and teambuilding programs.
