Car Fire Closes Delaware County Courthouse

The Delaware County Courthouse and Government Center is closed Tuesday due to a car fire in the county parking garage.

"For the safety of employees and visitors the county will clear the building of all smoke and recheck the sprinkler system. We thank all of the Fire Companies and EMS services that responded," Delaware County officials said in an announcement.

The incident was reported around 8:30 a.m. on North Olive and West 3rd streets, according to 6ABC.

No injuries were reported.

The courthouse is expected to reopen Wednesday.
