Free Family Movie Nights Launched At Dell Music Center

Philadelphia, PA -- War Room, a compelling drama with humor and heart that explores the power that prayer can have on marriages, parenting, careers, and friendships, kicks off The Dell Music Center’s Free Tuesday Movie Nights when it unspools Tuesday, June 21, at 7 p.m., according to a press release. 

The doors open at 6 p.m.

“The Dell is delighted to offer Free Tuesday Movie Nights for families in Philadelphia,” Susan Slawson, First Deputy Commissioner of the Philadelphia Parks and Recreation Department, which manages the venue, said in a statement. “Enjoying movies under the stars together is a wonderful family activity and will create memories of summer for years to come.”

Other movies in the series are:

• Minions, Tuesday, July 12. Minions Stuart, Kevin and Bob are recruited by Scarlet Overkill, a super-villain who, alongside her inventor husband Herb, hatches a plot to take over the world.
• Inside Out, Tuesday, July 26. Disney Pixar presents an inventive animated film that takes you on a journey from Inside Out to discover the emotional roller coaster inside your head.
• Creed, Tuesday, August 16.  The former World Heavyweight champion Rocky Balboa serves as a trainer and mentor to Adonis Johnson, the son of his late friend and former rival Apollo Creed.
• The Good Dinosaur, Tuesday, August 30. In a world where dinosaurs and humans live side-by-side, an Apatosaurus named Arlo makes an unlikely human friend.

Free advance tickets are available at The Dell Box Office, 2400 Strawberry Mansion Drive, Philadelphia. 

Doors will open at 6 p.m. and all movies begin at 7 p.m.
