Philly Zoo's Coldilocks, Country's Oldest Polar Bear, Celebrates Birthday

The weather outside may be anything but optimal for a polar bear, but that hasn’t stopped Coldilocks.

Indeed, the nation’s oldest living polar bear celebrated her 35th birthday on Thursday, complete with a birthday cake.

Coldilocks was born on December 13, 1980 at the Seneca Park Zoo in Rochester, according to the Zoo.

She came to Philly the next year, on October 6, 1981.

She weighs more than 450 pounds.

Along with fellow polar bear Klondike, 34, also seen in the video below, Coldilocks has been entertaining zoo visitors for decades.
