New York Jets coach Rex Ryan may have been responsible for causing a three-car accident in south Bethlehem a week ago, according to a report published on the website Deadspin.
According to the report, Ryan was driving his red Mustang west on W. Third Street at a little after 6 p.m. on Jan. 14, when he allegedly went through a red light at the intersection of Wyandotte Street.
Ryan’s Mustang collided with another car, which in turn collided with a third, according to the website, which quoted a Bethlehem police source.
The story said there were no injuries and all the cars sustained moderate damage. It is not clear whether Ryan, who is a son of former Eagles coach Buddy Ryan, was cited.
