Parkland Appoints New Curriculum Supervisor

Parkland School Directors extended a warm welcome last week to Jason Henry - the newly appointed curriculum supervisor of secondary education.

Henry will replace James Moniz, who was recently promoted to be the new principal of Parkland High School. Henry most recently served as the coordinator of educational technology for the Parkland district.

In a district press release, Superintendent Richard Sniscak said, “Jason’s varied experiences, dynamic leadership skills, strong communication and decision-making skills, and background in technology will be a tremendous asset to this role and to the team in the curriculum and instruction department.”

Henry was also a secondary mathematics teacher for 12 years.

He holds a bachelor’s degree from Bloomsburg University, a technology specialist certificate from DeSales University, and a master’s degree and principal’s certificate from Wilkes University.
