$1,100 in Razors Stolen from Tredyffrin CVS: Cops

TREDYFFRIN, PA -- The following police activity was reported over recent weeks by the Tredyffrin Township Police Department. All information is courtesy of the department:

• VANDALISM

7/10/16 – 1400 block of Stirling Drive in Wayne. The homeowner reported that their house was egged with several eggs. Police were able to determine the identity of at least one actor. A 19 year old male from Wayne, PA was charged with Criminal Mischief/Tampering with Property.

• THEFT

8/5/16 – Kmart Store in Strafford. A 38 year old female from Philadelphia, PA was charged with Theft by Deception after she had conducted multiple fraudulent return transactions while employed at the store.

• POSSESSION

8/15/16 at 2255 hours – Swedesford Road in Wayne. A 19 year old female from Wilmington, DE was charged with Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana and Paraphernalia during a traffic stop.

HARASSMENT

8/17/16 at 1208 hours – Rite Aid parking lot in Chesterbrook. Police responded to the report of a Rover bus passenger being disruptive. The 77 year old female from Wayne, PA was charged with Harassment when she grabbed the bus driver in a forceful manner.

• PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS

8/17/16 at 2201 hours – 400 block of Drummers Lane in Wayne. Police charged a 54 year old male from Wayne, PA with Public Drunkenness after he attempted to enter a neighbor’s residence, thinking it was his own.

• BIKE THEFT

8/17/16 – Performance Bike Shop in Paoli. Two actors test rode two high-end bicycles and returned with only one. The stolen bike was valued at $1,499. After an investigation was conducted, officers were able to identify the actors. Subsequently, a 28 year old female from Monongahela, PA and a 45 year old male from Pittsburgh, PA were charged with the following: Retail Theft; Theft by Unlawful Taking; Receiving Stolen Property and Identity Theft.

ASSAULT

8/18/16 at 0756 hours – 700 block of Lee Road in Chesterbrook. Police were dispatched to a road rage incident involving a gun. After speaking to the parties, it was determined that the 32 year old male actor from Downingtown, PA did display a handgun and was charged with the following: Terroristic Threats; Simple Assault; Possession of a Weapon with Intent to Commit Crime and Harassment.

RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY

8/19/16 at 1231 hours – Route 202. During a traffic stop, it was determined that the vehicle’s registration plate was stolen. The driver, a 35 year old female from Philadelphia, PA was charged with Receiving Stolen Property.

PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS

8/19/16 at 1758 hours – Paoli Wawa. A 49 year old male from King of Prussia, PA was charged with Public Drunkenness after officers observed him to be visibly intoxicated and unsteady on his feet.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

8/20/16 & 8/21/16 – In the areas of Main Street, Burgoyne Court and Crestline Road in Wayne. Several residences were egged during the overnight hours. As a result, one of the door screens were broken. The actor(s) are unknown at this time.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

8/22/16 – 400 block of Timber Lane in Devon. The homeowner reported that their mailbox, as well as others on the street were struck by vandals.

THEFT

8/23/16 – HH Gregg in Berwyn. The store’s loss prevention reported that several employees were responsible for $267,684.27 in fraudulent transactions. During an investigation, Detectives determined that there were four actors total. A 29 year old male from Philadelphia, PA; a 20 year old male from Philadelphia, PA; a 21 year old female from Philadelphia, PA and a 20 year old male from Philadelphia, PA were charged with multiple counts of the following crimes: Retail Theft; Receiving Stolen Property; Theft by Deception/False Impersonation, and Unlawful Use of the Computer.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

8/25/16 at 0849 hours - Paoli Wawa. A 43 year old male was charged with Disorderly Conduct after he was observed smoking an unknown substance in the restroom.

• THEFT

8/25/16 at 1108 hours – Chesterbrook Shopping Center. Three rolls of copper wire were stolen from the construction site. The value of the wire is $300.

• RETAIL THEFT

8/26/16 at 1353 hours – Barnes & Noble store in Berwyn. A 29 year old female from West Chester, PA was charged with Retail Theft after she took a book without paying for it.

• RETAIL THEFT

8/26/16 at 1518 hours – CVS Pharmacy in Paoli. The store management reported that a male actor stole over $1,100 worth of razors. The case is under investigation.

• POSSESSION

8/27/16 at 0059 hours – Route 202. A 23 year old male from Brooklyn, NY was charged with Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana and Paraphernalia during a traffic stop.

• VANDALISM

8/27/16 at 1752 hours – Maple Avenue in Paoli. The homeowner reported that actor(s) unknown threw a flower pot through their front window, smashing it.
