Car Fire At AAA Center Causes Thousands In Damage, Injures One Firefighter
The cause was ruled accidental by Chester County fire officials.

A car fire broke out in the AAA Car Care Center in Wayne early Thursday night. Though the cause has been ruled accidental, one responder suffered an injury at the scene.
Beryn Fire Chief Eamon Brazunas said the fire broke out in a service garage of the car care center inside a car at about 2:01 a.m.
Two firefighters who entered the building, which Brazunas said was full of smoke due to the car fire, fell into vehicle service pits but were uninjured. However, another crew member responding was injured when moving equipment around the building's exterior, Brazunas said.

Brazunas said the injury is not serious and the firefighter was taken to Paoli Hospital for treatment.
Despite the building's sprinkler system turning on and helping mitigate the damage, Chester County fire officials said the blaze caused an estimated $50,000 worth of damage in the car car center and also caused smoke damage to nearby businesses.
