Newtown, Newtown Street Roads In Easttown Closing Daily For Weeks: PennDOT

Newtown and Newtown Street roads in Easttown Township will close next week for water main work and will remain closed until mid April, according to PennDOT.

The work will begin Monday, March 13 and be done weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., PennDOT said.

The closures will be in effect between Waterloo Road and Wyola Drive, PennDOT said.

During construction, Newtown Road/Newtown Street Road motorists will be detoured over Waterloo Road, Church Road and St. Davids Road, PennDOT said.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area or consider alternate routes.
