Upper Merion Announces $152K In Scholarships, Grants

Congratulations to the organizations and students who won awards!

Officials from Upper Merion Township and Valley Forge Casino Resort recognized 65 recipients of grants and scholarships at the Board of Community Assistance (BCA) Awards Ceremony June 23 at the casino resort, they announced in a press release.

The BCA awarded $152,273.64 in grants and scholarships this year, they said.

Bae recently graduated from Upper Merion Area High School and will attend the Massachusetts Institute of Technology this fall.

The BCA was established by the Upper Merion Board of Supervisors and Valley Forge Casino Resort to provide grants to organizations serving Upper Merion residents, and to award scholarships for high school seniors from Upper Merion Township who plan to continue their education, according to a press release.
