Where to Charge Your Batteries in Southampton

Is the power in your home still out from Hurricane Sandy? We've found some locations where you can recharge your electronic devices.

Where to Charge Your Batteries in Southampton

Are you like thousands of area residents who have lost power? Well, at least you can still charge up your phone.

Upper Southampton Patch has compiled a list of local places where you can charge your electronic devices. If you know of one that's not listed, please add it in the comments section.

• Starbucks - both the Southampton and Huntingdon Valley locations are open regular hours. Recharge yourself with a hot cup of coffee while you recharge your electronics.

• Southampton Free Library - The library reopened to the public Thursday. Head over to charge your phone, check your email on their computers and utilize their WiFi during regular business hours.

• Corner Pocket Billiards - The neighborhood pool hall recently posted a generous offer on its Facebook page. Corner Pocket welcomes those in search of heat and electricity - free of charge, no questions asked - during regular business hours. Simply bring your devices and associated power cords and a power strip if you need to charge multiple items.

Go Bananas - Check out the newest location in the Southampton Shopping Center, while you score some swag for their grand opening. Then, enjoy some frozen yogurt while you recharge your batteries. The store is open until 9 p.m. and offers wifi service.

Editor's note: This list will be added to as we learn of more businesses regaining electricity and opening back up.
