Vehicle Fire Reported In Lower Makefield Township

LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA —The Yardley-Makefield Fire Company handled a vehicle fire Monday afternoon off Big Oak Road.

Fire crews along with Engine 98 from the Morrisville Fire Company responded to a vehicle fire in a neighborhood off Big Oak Road near St. John’s Church Monday night.

Crews arrived to find the bed of a pickup truck on fire.

Engine 98 arrived first and went into service with fire crews assisting.

YMFC fire police were on location to redirect traffic in the neighborhood.

It was unknown at this time what caused the fire. No injuries were reported.
