Viewfinder: 'Lucky Stiff' Alive and Well in Bristol

Roger Williams University Theater presents "Lucky Stiff", with the Feb. 26, matinee performance benefiting The Bristol Animal Shelter.

Roger Williams University thespians present a wildly entertaining rendition of the musical farce "Lucky Stiff". Based on the novel The Man Who Broke The Bank At Monte Carlo by Michael Butterworth, the play is directed by Stephanie Dean, Visiting Assistant Professor of Performing Art.

All proceeds of the Saturday, Feb. 26, matinee preformance were donated to the Bristol Animal Shelter. Amy Darling, sophmore at Roger Williams University and shelter volunteer, was on hand to answer questions about the shelter and solicit donations.

"The shelter has about 15 cats at present and could use canned cat food, cat litter and newpapers which we use for bedding," Darling said.
