Cranston West Grad, RIC Student, Dies After Accident
A fund has been established to support the family of Ashley Signoriello, who died after an accident on Monday.

Flags are at half staff on the campus of Rhode Island College and friends and family of Ashley Signoriello are in mourning after the 2010 graduate of Cranston High School West and student athlete died after complications from an accident Monday.
“Today, heaven has gained a beautiful angel,” said Jana Schnell, who created a gofundme page to support the family’s medical and funeral expenses during this difficult time. “Ashley’s family is overwhelmed by the amount of support Ashley has received. Please continue to pray for the Signoriello family during this time.”
Rhode Island College President Nancy Carriuolo asked that the flag be lowered in an email to the school community.

Carriuolo said Signoriello was an outstanding athlete and played both volleyball and lacrosse.
Signoriello was named to the Providence Journal all-state girls lacrosse team in 2010.
Schnell wrote that Signoriello was a genuinely beautiful person, “inside and out,” and would immediately light up the room when she entered.
Signoriello was “the first to help anyone in need.” And now, the family needs our help.
