Sister Saves Twin after Allergic Reaction
The bond between the Carpinelli sisters of Cranston is stronger than ever.
Meri Kennedy of the Cranston Herald describes Marie Carpinelli's harrowing experience as her allergic reaction quickly took control of her body as she desperately tried to call for help.
Her sister, Meg Carpinelli, managed to burst through the door, grab an EpiPen and save her sister's life just in time.
"When I reached Cranston 911, they at first couldn't understand me as my throat and tongue were swollen and I was so disoriented," Marie said. "I couldn't figure out how to use my EpiPen, even though I knew how to use it! I was scared."
