Creative Students Shine at Cole's Costume Contest

Students decked themselves out in costumes for the costume contest held during lunch at Cole Middle School.

Students at Cole dressed up in a variety of creative, scary, and funny costumes for the Halloween holiday and annual costume contest. Secretaries Elaine Balkcom and Gloria Gorman judged the contest. Some teachers dressed up for the event as well.

Judges awarded prizes in three categories for each grade level: scariest, funniest, and most creative. Students cheered other classmates on and seemed to have a blast with the event.

"It's something for them to experience," said Principal Alexis Meyer.  She said this event is held every year and that students love it.

"I am pumped for it," said Kellie Gammino, 8th grade student who dressed up for the occasion.
