Report: East Providence Man Killed Mother's Cat to Impress a Girl

An East Providence man reportedly brutalized his mother’s cat as a way to show a girl that he ”could follow through on something,” reported ABC6.

Anthony Stravato, 22, is being held and will undergo a mental evaluation. He reportedly murdered his mother’s cat that was named Cuddles. The cat’s remains were found on Wednesday behind the Riverside recreational field. It had been burned and beaten, according to ABC6.
