Wednesday Is Iced Coffee Day at DD's

Visit any local Dunkin' Donuts shop in Johnston for a reduced-price iced coffee — and support Hasbro Children's Hospital.

Wednesday Is Iced Coffee Day at DD's

Head to your favorite Dunkin' Donuts store in Johnston on Wednesday for a cheap coffee — while supporting a good cause.

Dunkin’ Donuts announced that Wednesday, May 23, is Iced Coffee Day in Rhode Island and Bristol County, MA.

All day, participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants will offer guests a medium (24 oz.) cup of iced coffee for $1. The price for a small iced coffee will be reduced to 75 cents, and a large will be reduced to $1.50.

The proceeds from tomorrow's iced coffee sales will be donated to The Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robbins Community Foundation to benefit Hasbro Children’s Hospital.

Johnston has six Dunkin' Donuts shops:

"We are thrilled to celebrate the unofficial start of summer with the return of Iced Coffee Day for Hasbro Children’s Hospital for the third year," said Joe Prazeres, Dunkin’ Donuts franchisee, in a press release. "Thanks to our loyal and generous guests, this annual promotion has generated nearly $350,000 for the organization, and we are excited to continue to raise money for a wonderful cause."

The money such fundraisers generates is critical to supporting the hospital, according to Dr. Robert B. Klein, pediatrician-in-chief of Hasbro Children’s Hospital

“A compassionate and comfortable experience in a healing environment is what we strive to provide for each of our young patients,” Klein said. “Dunkin’ Donuts supports our vision and, with this wonderful event, will help us to continue to provide the excellent care our community deserves.”
