Obituary: Doris "Dolly" Hope CinqMars, 101, Credited Long Life to "Everything in Moderation"
Doris "Dolly" Hope CinqMars, 101, of Middletown, RI, died on Saturday, July 19th of natural causes surrounded by loved ones. Born in Newport, RI, she was the daughter of the late Sigred and Eugene Cutter.

Dolly loved her dancing lessons growing up and was a graduate of Rogers High School. She worked as a secretary to a communications officer at the Naval Torpedo Station in Newport until she married the late Raymond Flint in 1949. They enjoyed a marriage that lasted 19 years, and together they ran a real estate and insurance business. She later married the late Edward CinqMars, who had put his name on Dolly's dance card when she was a teenager. They enjoyed traveling and were happily married for 20 years.

Dolly was a longtime resident of Middletown, RI and and was on the Altar Society of Trinity Church in Newport. A friend to many over her 101 years, in the last ten years she established many new friendships at Atria Aquidneck Place and The Grand Islander.

She will be remembered for her lifelong dedication to her family, her love of animals, and her colorful accessories, especially her hair barrettes. She loved reading books and newspapers, talking to family and friends, walking with her dogs, and gardening. Always a lady, "everything in moderation" was her answer to her longevity.

Dolly was the niece of the late Marie and Ebba Appelgren and sister to the late Virginia C. Sullivan and Francis and Roland Cutter.

She is survived by her nieces, Diane Damon and her husband Dennis, Alexandra Sullivan, Pamela Fisher and her husband Raymond; her great nieces, Kristin Perine, Diana Davis and her husband Scott, Danielle Martinez, and Kirtley Fisher; her great nephews and nieces, including Alexandra Barrows, Seth Davis and Johnathan Martinez Santoro; and her caregiver Arleen Goddu.

Dolly's family is grateful for the care given to her by the staff of the Grand Islander and Beacon Hospice.
