The following arrests were reported by South Kingstown police. They do not indicate a conviction.

Busy Weekend for SK Police with 7 Arrests
The South Kingstown Police Department arrested and/or charged seven people as the result of traffic stops over the past weekend. 

On June 6,at 6:40 p.m., police charged Gail Tighe, 54, of 6 Robbins Drive, Barrington with driving under the influence and refusing  a chemical test after she was stopped on for failure to yield for an emergency vehicle. Tighe was issued a summons to appear in 4th District Court on June 19 and a summons to appear in traffic court on June 16.

On June 6, at 11:30 p.m., police charged Stephen D Mosca , 37, of 140 Lahinch Road, South Kingstown, with DUI, reckless driving and refusing a chemical test after he was stopped on Route 1 for following too closely. Mosca was issued a summons to appear in 4th District Court on June 19 a summons to appear in traffic court on June 16.

On June 6, police charged Cardoza Coston, 35, of 290 Church St., Apt 4, South Kingstown with driving with a suspended license after he was stopped on Kingstown Road for a stop sign violation. Coston was issued a summons to appear in 4th District Court on June 19.

On June 6, police charged Paige D. Sprague 19, of 1910 South County Trail, West Kingstown, with transportation of alcohol by an underage person. Sprague was issued a summons to appear in 4th District Court on June 19.

On June 6, police charged Emilie Morrissey, 19, of 4 Secluded Drive, Wakefield, with  possession of an alcoholic beverage by an underage person. Morrissey was issued a summons to appear in 4th District Court on June 19.

On June 7, police charged Michael Jennings , 38, of 6 Sonya Drive, Coventry, with driving with a suspended license after he was stopped on Route 1 for speeding. Jennings was issued a summons to appear in 4th District Court on June 19 and a summons to appear in traffic court on June 16.

On June 8, police charged Glenn R. Jackson Jr., 23, of 44 Kelley Way, South Kingstown, with DUI, eluding police, refusal to submit to a chemical, resisting arrest and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana test after he was stopped on Route 1 for following too closely. Mosca was issued a summons to appear in 4th District Court on June 19, 2104 and a summons to appear in traffic court on June 16, 2014
