Body Found By Train Tracks In Exeter

State police are investigating the cause of death but say the case does not appear suspicious.

EXETER, RI — Amtrak employees discovered a man’s body while conducting maintenance on the train tracks. He was found in a wooded area off Wolf Rock Road in Exeter about 8:45 a.m. Tuesday, state police say. The man was identified as James Christodal, 45. He had no permanent address.

Rhode Island State Police report that the death does not appear to be suspicious; however the cause is still under investigation.
