Early Morning Arrests & Gym Threats

Information about the following incidents was supplied by the North Kingstown Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Early Morning Arrests & Gym Threats

Monday, Oct. 21

5:23 p.m. – A Connecticut man told police his car had been keyed and he thought it might have been while he was at Wilson Park Friday afternoon to watch his son in a baseball game. While at the game, he had a hostile interaction with his ex-wife's husband. Upon arriving home in Connecticut, the man noticed his car had been keyed and he told police he thought it was done by the ex-wife's husband. Police contacted that man, of North Kingstown, and he denied the act. 

Tuesday, Oct. 22

1:25 p.m. – Police cited a West Warwick man for possessing less than an ounce of marijuana after he was stopped because his rear license plate light was out while driving north on Quaker Lane. The marijuana was in a bag in plain view. 

Wednesday, Oct. 23

4:55 a.m. – Police arrested Kelsey E. Pagliuca, 20, at her home on Ebony Court, on a warrant out of Jamestown. She was taken into custody and turned over immediately to Jamestown police.

4:58 a.m. – Police arrested Makiel Lamont Nunes, 19, at his home on Butternut Drive on an affidavit warrant from Jamestown police for distributing a controlled substance, distributing counterfeit controlled substance and conspiracy. He was immediately turned over immediately to Jamestown police.

5:04 a.m. – Police arrested James Richard Dean, 20, at his home on Ebony Court on a warrant out of Jamestown. He was taken into custody and turned over immediately to Jamestown police.

5:16 a.m. – Police arrested Michael A. King, 21, at his home on Cardinal Drive on a warrant out of Jamestown. He was taken into custody and turned over immediately to Jamestown police.

8:03 a.m. – An East Greenwich man told police he was threatened by a fellow member of Planet Fitness on Frenchtown Road on Sept. 27, after he asked the member to wipe down a exercise machine after he used it. After the member told the EG man to "mind his own business," the EG man reported the incident to the management. The other man found him later and said, "What did you [do,] run to Mommy and Daddy? I will pound you into the ground," then walked away. The EG man filed a complaint with the gym and the gym told him the other man's membership has been revoked, but he was waiting for confirmation of that. He asked that the incident be documented.
