Friday Football: Goose Creek and Stratford 4-0

Hanahan and Cane Bay also find success in week four.

Friday Football: Goose Creek and Stratford 4-0

Another solid week for our local teams as Goose Creek and Stratford stay undefeated.

The Gators travelled to Fort Dorchester on Friday night. The Patriots offered more competition than most, posting two touchdowns against Goose Creek, but the Gator offense continued to show its strength, finishing 56-14. Goose Creek stays on the road next week, visiting Dutch Fork.

Ashley Ridge was first to score Friday night in the game against Stratford, but the Knights didn't take long to put them in the dust. The Knights stay undefeated at 4-0 with Friday's win, 56-21. They're coming home next week to host Colleton County.

Cane Bay continues to show its AAAA chops with a win on the road against Beaufort on Friday night. The Cobras won 28-20 and also head home with a 3-1 record. At 1-3, Ashley Ridge is going to be hungry for a win, but Cane bay is going to want four wins just as bad.

Hanahan suffered a blackout at the field, delaying the game for almost 30 minutes, but it didn't stop the Hawks from a solid win over visiting Edisto. Hanahan won, 34-0. The 3-1 Hawks travel to Wade Hampton next week.
