(shelbycountyreporter.com) — A longtime congregation at 530 1st Ave in Alabaster has rebranded from Alabaster Church of God to Alabaster Church while keeping its deep community roots. Members recently welcomed a familiar face, former youth pastor Mack Farley, as head pastor, continuing the church’s more than 50-year presence as a Pentecostal landmark in the city.
