Motorcyclist Airlifted After Crash on Highway 431 in Gadsden (weisradio.com) — Emergency crews in Gadsden’s Alabama City community shut down lanes on Highway 431 Saturday evening after a motorcyclist crashed and had to be airlifted from a landing zone behind Floyd Elementary School. Traffic between Attalla and Gadsden was heavily disrupted while first responders treated the rider, whose condition was not available as police continued investigating.
