• Gross Out Camp returns to Hartselle next week (hartselleenquirer.com) — Families in Hartselle can sign kids up now for Gross Out Camp, returning next week to Sparkman Park with weeklong June and July sessions. The outdoor science program, run by Alabama nonprofit Fresh Air Family, offers small-group, screen-free adventures in local creeks and woods for rising first- through fourth-graders, plus counselor-in-training roles for older students. Registration details are available through Hartselle Parks & Recreation.
   

• Hartselle man charged after ramming gate, hitting employee at impound lot (whnt.com) — Hartselle police say a local man faces an assault charge after allegedly driving through a secured impound lot gate and injuring an employee during a dispute over a vehicle on June 10. Investigators gathered evidence, obtained a warrant, and arrested the 35-year-old the next day, before he was booked into the Morgan County Jail on a $2,500 bond.
   

• 25 Huntsville-area baseball players selected for All-State teams (hvilleblast.com) — Hartselle baseball fans can celebrate as Class 6A Player of the Year Asher Doepel and five teammates earned spots on the 2026 All-State teams. The Alabama Sports Writers Association honored standout players across all classifications, with Hartselle High heavily represented among Huntsville-area selections and helping showcase North Alabama’s strong high school baseball talent this season.
