• Depot Days organizers to host community meeting Friday (hartselleenquirer.com) — Hartselle residents are invited to a Depot Days planning meeting this Friday at 8 a.m. at the Hartselle Area Chamber of Commerce to learn about volunteering, sponsorships, and committee roles. Organizers say strong local involvement is key as they prepare for the 46th annual Depot Days festival, set for Sept. 19 in downtown Hartselle.

• Sheats named Hartselle High School principal (hartselleenquirer.com) — Hartselle High School will get a familiar face as its new principal, with longtime educator and alumna Earon Sheats taking over on June 1. Currently principal at Hartselle Intermediate, she plans a collaborative, relationship-focused approach while maintaining strong academics and school culture for local students and staff.
