Volunteers, churches, and Habitat for Humanity of Saline County gathered Tuesday to bless the house, present Bibles, and celebrate Tricia Curtis and her three children as they begin life in their new Benton home.
   

• Benton woman gets 2-year federal prison sentence, $540,000-plus in restitution for wire fraud (kark.com) — A Benton woman has been sentenced in federal court to two years in prison and over $540,000 in restitution after admitting she used her position as a medical clinic CFO to divert funds for personal use. Prosecutors say she made hundreds of unauthorized wire transfers to pay credit cards, move money into her own account, and give herself a bonus between 2020 and 2024.
