Domestic Disturbance Leads to Battery Arrest (neareport.com) — Police say a domestic disturbance at a Jonesboro home on Kingsbury Street left a wheelchair-using resident injured and led to the arrest of an Alabama man on felony battery and related charges. A juvenile present reported threats and tried to protect herself during the incident. The suspect is being held on a $50,000 bond with a no-contact order and GPS monitoring.

Two Arrested in Jonesboro, Accused of Possessing Drugs (jonesbororightnow.com) — Two people were arrested at a Jonesboro hotel after an officer, recognizing one suspect’s felony warrant, searched their bags and reported finding large amounts of meth along with other drugs and a scale. Investigators report surveillance video showed the worker using his phone to capture card images on specific December dates. He now faces multiple felony fraud and theft charges and a $35,000 bond.
