Two men arrested for alleged battery and robbery (ksla.com) — Magnolia police have arrested two men after a resident on East McNeill Street was found in his home with life-threatening injuries and evidence of robbery. The victim was first treated at Magnolia Regional Medical Center before being airlifted, and both suspects now face multiple felony charges as investigators continue their work.
   

2. Arkansas awarded $13M to create nearly 700 affordable housing units (nwahomepage.com) — Magnolia is slated to gain 60 new affordable housing units through the Enclave Estates at Magnolia development in Columbia County, funded by federal low-income housing tax credits. The project is part of a $13.3 million statewide award that will support nearly 700 income-restricted homes across Arkansas over the next several years.

His work with Abilities Unlimited and regional outreach programs focuses on improving services, leadership, and public safety education throughout Magnolia and Southwest Arkansas.
   

4. Magnolia High School students participate in roundtable discussion with U.S. Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett (magnoliabannernews.com) — Two Magnolia High School seniors, Michael Boyd and Tomoko Schneiderwind, were chosen to join a small group of Arkansas students in a roundtable with U.S. Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett at Crystal Bridges in Bentonville. They discussed civic life, leadership, public service, and the judiciary, earning congratulations from the Magnolia School District for representing their school and community.
   

5. Williams, Pearson named MHS Athletes of the Year (magnoliabannernews.com) — Magnolia School District has honored its top student-athletes for the 2025–2026 year, with Ge’Tyren Williams and Ke’Asia Pearson named Male and Female Athletes of the Year. The ceremony spotlighted dozens of Panthers and Lady Panthers for their leadership, character, and standout performances while representing Magnolia in multiple sports.
