Tickets, volunteer registration open for 2026 Walmart NW Arkansas Championship (nwahomepage.com) — Tickets and volunteer spots are now open for the 2026 Walmart NW Arkansas Championship at Pinnacle Country Club in Rogers, running September 19–27. Rogers-area residents can snag affordable passes, volunteer in key roles, and enjoy BITE food festivals, a 5K, and special 20th-anniversary fan experiences across Rogers, Bentonville, and Fayetteville. 
2. Tick-borne illnesses remain a concern for humans and pets in Arkansas (5newsonline.com) — Veterinarians at the Cat Clinic of Northwest Arkansas in Rogers say they’re seeing one of the worst years yet for bobcat fever in local cats, with a 15% fatality rate. State health officials are also warning Rogers residents about human tick-borne illnesses and urging careful tick checks, use of repellents, and proper tick removal after time outdoors this summer.
