• Richard Paul Donahue (talkbusiness.net) — Van Buren residents are preparing to say goodbye to Richard Paul Donahue, whose graveside service is set for Monday, June 1 at Gracelawn Cemetery. Richard spent part of his childhood in the Van Buren/Fort Smith area and returned to live with his parents here during his final weeks, remembered for his adventurous spirit, love of the outdoors, and deep devotion to his daughter. 
• Irene Rosalina Moore (talkbusiness.net) — Family and friends in Van Buren are mourning Irene R. Moore, 86, whose sons and grandson live in Van Buren and who will be laid to rest under the care of a local funeral home. The longtime caregiver and landscaping partner, originally from Panama and most recently of Alma, will have a memorial service announced later, with private burial at Fort Smith National Cemetery.
