Good Life Refuge Announces 3rd Annual 'Sanctuary Spectacular' Fundraising Gala (yellowscene.com) ā Animal lovers in Longmont are invited to Good Life Refugeās 3rd Annual Sanctuary Spectacular gala on May 9 at Bestow Events in town. The Longmont-based farm animal sanctuary is planning plant-based dining, live music, and a silent auction to raise funds for food, medical care, shelter, and education programs that serve the local community.

5. Man allegedly steals Boulder Fire-Rescue engine right after he was released from jail, police say (denver7.com) ā A stolen Boulder Fire-Rescue engine was finally stopped at 1st and Main in downtown Longmont after local police used stop sticks during an overnight chase. Longmont officers then helped Boulder County deputies arrest the suspect, who faces multiple felony charges. No Longmont residents were reported injured, though law enforcement vehicles and the fire engine sustained significant damage.
