• Northeastern Junior College's 8 GED graduates took the road less traveled (journal-advocate.com) — Sterling-area residents can celebrate eight Northeastern Junior College students who just earned their GEDs through the Adult and Community Education program, with several honored by the Sterling Lions Club. Program leaders highlighted strong student progress, renewed funding for next year, and an inspiring message about perseverance from NJC’s vice president of academic services. Graduates now head toward college and new careers.
