• Saugatuck Commercial Real Estate brokers $8.3m sale of Ansonia Landing Shopping Center (nerej.com) — A major Ansonia retail hub, the Ansonia Landing Shopping Center on Division Street, has been sold for $8.3 million to investor Michael Berkowitz. The new owner plans upgrades and a refreshed tenant mix, which could reshape shopping options and traffic patterns for residents near Route 8 and the growing Division Street retail corridor.
   

• This Week In Valley History: 1969 (newhavenindependent.org) — A look back to 1969 shows how Ansonia leaders debated street improvements, campaigned for mayor, and planned community events like the police department’s annual ball at Warsaw Park. The retrospective also revisits regional milestones in Derby, Seymour, and Shelton, from historic house restoration and labor talks to school appointments and industrial growth that helped shape today’s Valley communities.
   

• Seymour Eyes Botsford Road Cell Tower, Again (newhavenindependent.org) — Seymour officials are weighing a new cell tower on Botsford Road, in part because Gary Park was ruled out for being too close to the existing tower at Nolan Field in Ansonia. The project could bring Seymour up to $250,000 a year and improve regional coverage, but neighbors near the Great Hill Hose firehouse are expected to raise concerns before any application goes to the state siting council.
