• Woman Seriously Injured In East Hartford Crash: Police (patch.com) — A serious single-vehicle crash on westbound Route 2 in East Hartford early Monday sent a local woman to Hartford Hospital with significant injuries and heavily damaged her SUV. State police are still investigating and are asking anyone who saw the crash or has dashcam footage from around Exit 2A at 4:47 a.m. to contact Troop H. 
• GOP protests display of tiny Pakistani flag on state rep's desk (theday.com) — A flag dispute at the Connecticut State Capitol has drawn in House Majority Leader Jason Rojas of East Hartford, who keeps U.S., Connecticut and Puerto Rico flags on his desk. Republicans protested a Pakistani flag displayed by Rep. Maryam Khan, prompting Democratic leaders to weigh whether new rules are needed for personal desk flags.
