• DOT makes safety upgrades to New Britain CT fastrak station (nbcconnecticut.com) — Safety is being stepped up at the CT Fastrak station in downtown New Britain, with redesigned shelters, brighter lighting, and two private security officers on every shift. State police are also increasing patrols and enforcing a zero-tolerance policy on the New Britain Fastrak line, while drivers get new barriers, cameras, and an SOS button to help keep riders safe.
