• St. Paul HS Students from Berlin, Oakville Awarded Major Scholarships (patch.com) — An Oakville senior at St. Paul Catholic High School, Samuel Sirica, has been awarded a major four-year scholarship from the Thomas and Elsie Deeley Foundation, totaling part of $60,000 shared with another student. Sirica, who attends Holy Disciples Parish in Watertown, will study engineering at UConn and receive mentorship from a past scholarship recipient, continuing a long-running central Connecticut support tradition.
