Scammers pose as law enforcement, demand cash, then send victims to crypto ATMs. Local mayors urge you to hang up, call police directly, and support tighter controls on kiosks.

Eagle resident expresses concern over city's unclear BLM land proposals (ktvb.com) — An Eagle resident is challenging how the city is handling two separate proposals involving nearly 1,900 acres of nearby BLM land, worrying that a recreation plan could mask a development-friendly land exchange. City officials say the Recreation and Public Purposes application and a potential congressional land swap are distinct, but both could reshape open space and access in the Eagle Foothills over the next few years.
   

3. Eagle Island State Park seeks new proposals for winter sports venue as the current agreement nears its end (kivitv.com) — Winter fun at Eagle Island State Park is up for reimagining as Idaho Parks and Recreation seeks proposals for a new operator of the snow hill and other non-motorized winter activities, with bids due October 16.
